Who we areWe are a group of ministers and business people, men and women and Churches who have a common sense of purpose, vision and friendship. we are boomers, busters, gen exers and digitals.
We believe in apostolic leadership, we have little faith in committees and leaderless democratic Church government. we believe in colouring outside the lines. we are inspired plagiarists and discerning pragmatists. We are agents of change. Our focus is on transforming communities through Church planting, personal, business and community development - a biblical approach to life and ministry.
We have few theologians but lots of practitioners. We aren’t fundamentalists but we are fervent believers. We don’t want to control God's people or anybody else for that matter. We love life and all its implications. We love good books, music, food and friends and we especially love to laugh a lot.
We love fast cars, jumping out of perfectly good planes and anything that involves water. We love anything that pushes the limits. We go where others won't, we live there. we value honor, grace, affirmation, partnership and abundance, that’s our culture, it's who we are. We are irreverent, risky, conservative, serious and holy. we are christians, we are human and we live with paradox, we have contradictions and we celebrate humanity. We are deeply loved, greatly blessed and highly favoured. we love people, we love what we do and we especially love God. "we are metamorphic international, a transformation network" | The metamorphic network Currently we have an Asian network which covers such countries as Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Our African network operates in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Rwanda and Uganda. The arab network is our newest endeavour and covers significant portions of North Africa as well as the Gulf states. 2009 - 2010 will see us continue to build the existing networks with Metamorphic national conferences and increased church planting and training while at the same time opening up new frontiers. Australian pastors, leaders and business people play a great part in this network as together we partner in training, coaching and resourcing our overseas networks. |
