Why Support Metamorphic
Metamorphic is unique in that it does not follow traditional development and church planting models. We are not bound by expectations and demands of government funded organizations whose funds carry the baggage of adherence to furthering the Australian interest; rather we are committed 100% to furthering the interdependent interests of the individuals, communities and countries we work in. We do not accept donations that carry the sort of baggage as described above.
Here at Metamorphic we understand that a person is made up of body, soul and spirit, therefore our training reflects these aspects. We believe that the church should be the answer to the needs of the community. Through developing our pastors and empowering them to build churches, the community’s spiritual and physical needs can be met.
MED Our MED models are not the traditional banking models but are instead purely development models focused on the success and development of those who receive the loan rather than the repayment rate. As all businesses are different and different communities are conducive to certain business types Metamorphic tailors repayments for each individual business and its cycle separately. We also provide comprehensive training and follow up to ensure that the loan recipients are set up for success from the start. As a result, our repayment rates around the world are over 90%. Our loans are also of an amount that not only helps set the leaders business up for success but also provides a greater opportunity to break the poverty cycle. Too often MED loans and training can be so insignificant that the recipients merely go from growing just enough to live on to making just enough money to live on.

LEADERS One reason for the exceptional success of our models is that we mostly focus on training and equipping community leaders who have a proven commitment to replicating their new skills and success amongst their village members.
ROI At Metamorphic we are confident that we supply the best return on investment for donors in the development sector. The key is again linked to the fact that we train national community leaders who then replicate their skills and success in culturally applicable ways in their own communities negating the need for foreign organizations that have high wage and administration expenses. We build model farms that also include bio gas facilities where our leaders receive expert training and then return to their communities equipped with this knowledge. Recently we funded 22 wells in a drought stricken region of Cambodia. The entire project was administered and managed by local leaders trained by us in the past and the drilling was carried out by a local company. This project saw 5000 people receive clean water and hygiene and sanitation training at a cost of $4 per person. These leaders have also started community banks, initiated co-ops, conducted business training to name just a few of their initiatives. By training one leader we touch a whole community.
